Contextual significance: We are not entirely sure. He could be concluding the lines before this or introducing the lines after. Illogic is a very abstract rapper, so you should decide what he means, but he’s probably saying that as he gets more experienced the garden of ideas to choose from grows larger for him, as he’s now able to see through the detail and understand the ideas behind everything he sees.

Note: the use of grain is an early introduction of the plant theme that he discusses over the course of the next few lines.

He says that the life cycle of these plants is random. One bud may bloom and finish its cycle (leaves and flowers drop in fall) by being manifested on to one of his songs, and new flowers could appear the very next day (‘let spring randomly appear’; spring = new flowers), laying out a new field to choose ideas from.

The use ‘fall’ and ‘landed’ in the second line is wordplay on the dual meaning of ‘fall’.

Following from the previous line , Illogic says that he helps those buds (metaphor for ideas) mature and gives them nourishment in the form of language and thought until finally he delivers them on his music.

He observes the growth of ideas. He consumes the buds with potential and they flower inside him, providing more insight and perspective to his work. He lays out the rest as embellishments(decorations) and finishing touches.

In the next few lines he describes the process of taking an idea and manifesting it on to his work by comparing it to the life cycle of a flower.

His day may have taken a terrible turn, but the indifferent songbird still chirps his melody, which usually defines a happy emotion.
