Chanson de Charles Aznavour et Jacques Plante écrite en 1965. Elle raconte l'histoire d'un peintre qui se souvient avec nostalgie de sa jeunesse passée sur les hauteurs de Montmartre.

Elle est à l'origine prévue d'être chantée par Georges Guétary dans l'opérette Monsieur Carnaval. Charles Aznavour l'enregistre avant la générale de l'opérette, ce qui provoque des querelles médiatiques entre les deux artistes et leurs maisons de disques respectives, Barclay et Pathé-Marconi. Le succès des ventes de disques des deux interprètes favorise leur réconciliation par l'entremise de Frédéric Dard.
