P-p-p-people always sayin Charles you can sell
Lyrically you are a nuisance but you can't tell
Stutter by Charles Hamilton

Basically everyone is telling Charles that he ain’t moving any copies because even though he’s a lyrical monster, you can’t tell that from just looking at him

Charles Hamilton:

Maybe it’s the whole pink thing, or maybe it’s the Sonic stuff. Who knows.

They say I talk a little bit fast
But if you listen a little faster maybe you can catch up bitch!
Stutter by Charles Hamilton

This is homage to 50 Cent’s ending statement on P.I.M.P. “They say I talk a lil fast, but if you listen a lil faster
I ain’t got to slow down for you to catch up”

Nearly the same line, not telling the listener to literally listen faster but telling them that despite complaints he is not slowing down so you better find a way to understand.

Nah homie whatchu mean whatchu mean

Did I st-st-stutter-st-st-stutter or something?
Nah shawty whatchu mean whatchu mean
I wasn't clear enough? Did I stutter or something?
Stutter by Charles Hamilton

Stuttering (sometimes called “stammering”) is a speech disorder that disrupts the flow of speech causing involuntary repetitions and prolongations of sounds, syllables, words or phrases. A popular poster child for stuttering is the character Porky Pig from the Looney Toons.

Charles Hamilton approached this concept song with the act of stuttering in mind, purposely repeating syllables of certain words to create an original idea and flow. Often individuals will sarcastically say “Did I stutter or something?” to a person as a rebuttal to a misunderstanding; this is exactly how Charles Hamilton is using it, in a sort of intimidating tone.

I'll beat you with a branch from your family tree Stutter by Charles Hamilton

A play off of “family tree”, Charles is saying he’s so raw he can literally beat you, even if it were something you were comfortable with, like a branch from your family tree.

The no gunplay just straight to the knuckles Stutter by Charles Hamilton

Just like the old fashioned fights, now-a-days everyone wants to start shooting, but Hamilton just wants to have what I like to call a good ol' fashioned fisticuffs.

B-b-b-but if you should fuck with nate then it's trouble
F-f-f-fuck us for real I'll pop your face like a bubble
Stutter by Charles Hamilton

If you have enough confidence to mess with Charles or his feature, Young Nate best believe Charles is swinging off of you and he’s aiming straight for your face.

[Note: The use of stuttering the beginning of words, already used a couple of times so far but is aparent throughout the entire track including the feature Young Nate. Cool concept in my opinion.]

B-But I'm a cool cat and won't make it to that level
So I'm a stick to the drums b-base and the treble
Stutter by Charles Hamilton

He’s calm, and level headed so it will never rise to the level of fist fighting. So he’ll just stick to the music.

This is also kind of funny considering that he was arrested in 2010 for causing trouble in bars, and then assaulting a police officer. Lol…

And in the event of me losing the second option
Just put the mic down right now and get it poppin
Stutter by Charles Hamilton

If he loses the bet, then him and the person he lost to can put the mics down and start fighting…

…Not really a good idea for Mr. Hamilton though after getting the rings punched out of him by his ex-girlfriend.
