Honesty lies is a play on words… Honesty lies as in it doesn’t portray the truth. Honesty lies as in it lies down, or submits. Hes saying There is no such thing as honesty in darkness, because the truth is hidden.

We find truth in the moonlight for the cycle of it.. The light from the moon, even with its cycles and constant change, is a metaphor for the only truth we can be sure of, that everything is always changing…. See change is the only constant by illogic feat blueprint… It also could be said that this could be a statement about the insignificance of our individual lives bc whether we’re here or not nature will continue to run its course and do what it does. Capturing the sun implies harnessing & embodying the unstoppable force of nature.

I am going by the recurrent theme in Akala’s music being racism and socio-economic hierarchys that he is referring to engineered conditions by wealthy to keep the poor down.

The wealthy are in this analogy the “artist” or the “flame” and the poor the “smoke” and “frame”

Godemis goes from Batman (super-hero) to Bruce Wayne (average joe) only when he takes dump, which indicates that he is always at his peak. He only rarely tones his style down.

If you take into account the 3 last lines Godemis enumerates the things his enemies will need once he attacks/kills them (stretchers and oxygen bags) and then he refers to things you would need to lose weight (box of slim,socks and gym bags).

Literally the dead loses weight, which would be otherwise an expression to refer to losing unneeded extras.
