Ebola virus is a disease that causes you to bleed to death in days. Urban legend says it was made by the government.

Rap garage sales are a way of saying wack rappers are getting record deals and the trend is increasing. Think about it, essentially in a garage sale you display pedestrian items you want to sell, which are not wanted, and as a result you make deals with them. The metaphor rap garage sale is perfect.

No matter what you do, you can’t get to Pun. Unless you are a fuckin' snake like Fat Joe.

To analyze it a bit more, especially with this line: “physically, lyrically, hypothetically, realistically” – this is almost every aspect you can beat a man, especially a Hiphop artist in. In a nutshell, he’s pretty much saying he’s physically stronger, he’s lyrically better, hypothetically(which denotes that you cant even plan to do anything to Pun in the future), and realistically – which is real life situation which might not involve a physical fight but one with guns or just real life its self, possibly internal who knows.

This, right here, is all a flawless victory

Also, you wonder if when he said ‘flawless victory’ he had the game ‘Mortal Kombat’ in mind…we will never know RIP Pun

As far as what Canibus meant by Oppenheimer lock, even a google search for ‘“Oppenheimer lock” -Canibus’ reveals nothing, but a Google patent search for Oppenheimer lock reveals a number of historical patents for locking mechanisms filed by various people whose surname was Oppenheimer. [ https://www.google.com/search?tbm=pts&hl=en&q=oppenheimer+lock&btnG= ] He also might be making the name up to reference some type of radiation-proof vault door, alluding to the more famous Oppenheimer and his work on the Manhattan Project.

Girls love the Abstract’s erect penis.

This is also a pun on GYM, where girls go for crazy friction on, say, the spinning bikes.

This is an interesting line and point of view GZA expresses here. “Cold World” doesn’t only refer to all the cold niggas in the hood out there, it also applies to higher authority like police. So here he paints a picture of a criminal trying to flee the scene but getting shot in the back.

As most people see the murder rate and instantly think of crime and criminals but overlook those that have been killed by higher authority. So here he connects “increase the murder rate” to police in contrast as someone would with a straight killer.

Love to the guys in prison he’ll see them when they got out or when he goes to prison

This line is direly important. It illuminates not only Tupac’s plight, but on behalf of the precarious predicament young black male are apart of in the streets. It’s important to note too that in the music video you see Tupac with his hands on the bar of the jail cell while saying this line. It’s keenly ambiguous as you don’t if Tupac is speaking from the outside in or vice-versa.

He feels he should mature before becoming a father rather than having to do it while he raises the child. The essence of maturing is growth, experience, trial and error, education and wisdom. Unfortunately when conceiving a child there is no such thing as trial and error as your life suddenly takes a new-founded potent itinerary.

Through Common’s wisdom, no man should be forced to mature at such an early stage of their life, especially if they’re not ready. Mistakes have consequences unfortunately, and he chose to run from them by aborting the birth process of his child.

“Cold World” is a leading single from GZA’s classic album, Liquid Swords

The story told in GZA’s Cold World paints vivid imagery of social problems within the hoods of the ghetto. This song not only gives you an image, but provides situations and the consequences that come in part with them. A “cold world” is what communities that are struggling but often overlooked even though right under our noses, are referred too. This story gives you a first person narrative of the worst. Not only does the context and instrumental revolve around a dark, deep mood, but so does the music video of the song.

This track was also largely influenced by Stevie Wonder’s “Rocket Love”. Both the name as the sample derive from the classic R&B track.

Kinda familiar, here it refers to him being known for shooting a shotgun.

Big L uses great wordplay on:

I’m known to “gas” a “hottie”

Usually gas ignites a fire, so L is implying that he gets a hot woman to feel a sense of pleasure and excitement.

Also “gassing” something is hyping it up. So with the double meaning he can also be saying he’s getting the hot women excited.
