Danimal Lector is a maniac (a moniker he uses to call his fans). With his style of music he can definitely be seen as an “abnormal artist” – just watch these videos, along with his multiple mixtapes and his debut album, and you’ll definitely understand.

Lector has touched up on the fact that his career has been a struggle (which is what he means by all alone – no one has really noticed him, like in the song “Music Is My God”:

Whats the cost of life? Lets talk a price
I’m lookin at the stars and stripes
Freedom of speech? But no one listens to the bars I write

And he constantly murders his “adversaries” own beats – such as his Hammer Dance remix linked above, along with a plethora of others, which can be found on his YouTube channel.

Like he always does, R.A plans on taking us on a trip through the golden ages of hip hop through his music – back to the days where shows, guns and weapons weren’t important. It was just straight rhyming for the love of it.

Because we wouldn’t be here today… if the old school didn’t pave the way.

Jim Bakker is a televangelist, and ex-minister. A slew of accusations of fraud and allegations of rape eventually left him divorced and behind bars.

He acquired nearly 3.4 million dollars through “selling $1,000 lifetime memberships” – which guaranteed an annual three-night stay at a luxury hotel. However it was reported that while more than 10,000 memberships were sold, only about five hundred of those were actually legit. The rest of the money was filtered into Bakkers pocket, Heritage U.S.A, and $279,000 was given to Jessica Hahn to keep her quiet about Bakker raping her. After a series of legalities, Bakker ended up divorced, with a sentence of eight years (originally it was 45 years). He was released on December 1st, 1994.

Okay, R.A, you’re really running me through my paces, here. Stop with all these obscure references… I need to catch my breath.

Okay, alright, I’m back in the game.

Sweet T (remember this is before Sweet T was Suga) began her rapping career in 1986 and never really achieved success on a massive scale – her debut album, It’s Tee Time, managed to scrape it’s way onto the charts, appearing at #31 on the US Billboard R&B Charts. She eventually changed her name to Suga, as suggested by this line, but recently she’s gotten back into her music (as suggested by her facebook page), and she’s back under the moniker Sweet Tee!

So… that’s… something to look forward to in 2014!

Hip Hop wasn’t always the beloved genre it is now – in the 80’s, everyone was about that sweet R&B, more specifically, the mega star James Brown, who’s responsible for some pretty big hits!

Recognize any?

As terrible as it sounds, unfortunately there have been prostitutes as young as five years old.

While that may be the case that R.A is referring to, and he merely got the age incorrect – there have been a couple cases involving eight year olds, as well. A prostitute from Waterbury, Connecticut admitted that for about a year, she let the then-mayor Phillip A Giordano have “sexual trysts” with her eight year old daughter and ten year old niece., and in 2011, a mother was charged with attempting to prostitute her eight year old daughter for $100.

#RapGenius would like to shout out it’s support for all of the families struggling with missing relatives due to human trafficking, kidnapping, murder and rape. We <3 you, guys, and we’re sorry for this horrible tragedy.

Hopsin has made a career off of attacking a wide variety of topics – and a main focus of his is the lack of talent in the industry today.

Also, the ending of this bar is a reference to his most recent album (but not released yet at the time of this line), Knock Madness. It was released November 24th, 2013.

R.A has always had his eye on the big ones…

This line is an Easter egg to long-time fans – we all remember Die, Rugged Man, Die an album littered with disgusting topics – from “Da Gurlz, They Love Me” (the song linked above) … to the “Pick My Gun Up Skit” (go ahead… try and listen to it. FUN FACT: Pick My Gun Up was RapGenius' #1 entry in their The Five Nastiest, Most Explicit Sex Scenes in Rap History list).

Throughout listening to this album, and just by listening to his features throughout the years since his last album, R.A has evolved a lot. But with this one line he reassures is fans that yes… he’s still one nasty motherfucker.
