Chino has been rapping for about… oh, twenty one years at the time of this explanation, and still has the misfortune of being thrown in the crowd when the subject of “underground artists” pops up. If you look at the terms of musical success, yes, Chino XL could be considered for the title of “most underrated lyric artist”.

Chino XL plays on the term “sick”. In hip hop, it’s a way of saying that you are a great rapper, and in real life, when one person is sick, people send them Get Well cards. Generally, however, get well cards do nothing to cure the sickness. The “get well” cards here are hatemail from haters, and Chino accepts them, knowing full well it will do nothing to make him stop killing tracks.

A “government” is another way of saying your real name, so here Tech N9NE says do NOT call him by his real name. He shed that alias for his new persona…. E.B.A.H.

The slang “government” comes from the fact the government records show a person’s real name, so a “government name” will always be the person’s birth or official name.

Him and his father are “Rolling Stone’s” – in the sense that they fuck women and leave (which is like what Eminem’s father did).

Eminem was also on the cover of Rolling Stone (a music magazine), a topic in which he talks about in the song Kill You

“Oh, now he’s raping his own mother, abusing a whore
Snorting coke, and we gave him the Rolling Stone cover?”
You goddamn right bitch, and now it’s too late
I’m triple platinum and tragedies happened in two states

In his “Kill You” days, Eminem would constantly be stoned – so when he got high the next time he would need to roll a blunt… while stoned. Rolling Stoned

Of course, Eminem’s drug days are far behind him. You can tell how much that changed him by remembering that back in his Say Goodbye To Hollywood days, he said

All I know is I don’t want to follow in the footsteps
Of my dad, cause I hate him so bad
The worst fear that I had was growing up to be like his fucking ass

And now, here he is, happily comparing himself to his father. However, the cheerfulness of the line may be deceptive. He’s making a joke out of something he really finds disgusting – he despises his dad for leaving him, and that won’t change.

Quite a clever way to say you are claiming to do things you’ve never done before. ‘Hearing metal’ in this context refers to the sound of gunshots.

He says something similar to this in When All Light Dies, saying

Yeah, yeah, I carry heavy fists, I’m a biological terrorist
If you ain’t been in war, then you don’t know what terror is

Jehovah is the bibical “official” name for the deity of christianity, more popularly known as God.

Here, Vinnie Paz (rightfully) claims that his skill is so sick (hip hop slang for awesome), that it turned God corrupt.

Also, this was after rapper Jay-Z, whose nick name is Hova (short for Jehovah), retired in 2003 (although his comeback was the same year this album released), so Vinnie Paz could also be saying that he is the reason Jay-Z retired (stole Jehivah’s heart), due to his lyrical skill scaring him.

The Jay-Z reference is plausible, seeing how on this very song, Jay-Z is sampled, using a line from the song Threat as part of the hook.

The Illmatic reference/homage continues with this hook, which alludes to Memory Lane (Sittin' In Da Park), in which Nas raps:

One for the money
Two for pussy and foreign cars
Three for Alize, niggas deceased or behind bars

The “one for the money” rhyme has been used numerous times in rap, indicating that Cole is continuing the trend possibly referencing its use by Andre 3000 in “Elevators (Me and You).”
