Blading is the act of using a small blade in a match to make yourself bleed. Blades are usually hidden in a wrestlers boot, and pulled out secretly so that kayfabe is maintained. Some wrestlers will conceal the blade within their wrist tape, or will get one passed to them from the referee.

The reason wrestlers blade is so that matches seem more dramatic. The addition of blood almost always makes matches more intense, and gets the audience more involved.

The Miz has had the catchphrase of “because I’m awesome” since August of 2009. He debuted it along with his new finisher in a contract match agaisnt Eugene. The line is typically used by The Miz in a not-so-serious bragging manner.

This match saw a change in his catchphrase. In this instance, it’s much more sinister and intense rather than half-joking. He’s telling the WWE Universe that he can do whatever he wants, simply because he is The Miz.

It wasn’t until 2011 that Morrison and Miz' feud reached main event status. The Miz won the WWE Championship in 2011, launching himself into the upper-card. Morrison then re-ignited their feud, placing himself in the upper-card as well. Even after The Miz lost the WWE Championship, their feud remained at the top of the card.

It all culminated in this 11/28/11 Raw match, where The Miz takes out John Morrison permanently.

Taking Morrison out, and then cutting this promo solidified him as a serious and vicious wrestler.

The RKO has become a meme among wrestling fans, namely for its “out of nowhere” characteristic. In this instance, Randy Orton quite literally comes from out of nowhere into the camera view, and slams Hulk Hogan onto the trunk of the car.

This was during his “Legend Killer” gimmick, and Hogan was his legend target at the time.
