Here it is unclear what exactly Seth Rollins means. He could mean that John Cena is a phoney if he doesn’t bring back the Authority, because that would mean the potential death and certain paralysis of his friend, Edge. He could also mean that Cena is a phoney if he DOES bring back the Authority, because that would mean he is submitting to Rollins' demands.

It’s a lose-lose situation for Cena either way. He is making sure that, no matter what angle these events create, that Seth would get what he wants in the end

John Cena has granted more than 400 wishes for the Make a Wish Foundation, and is the most decorated celebrity when it comes to doing so.

Seth Rollins plays off of Cena’s charity work with Make-A-Wish. Trying to get into Cena’s head, he asserts that Edge is in a poor state and needs a wish to be granted just like the sickly children Cena meets with year-round.

One of John Cena’s most used catch phrases is “hustle, loyalty, respect.” and Cena has even put out a song of the same name. Seth is trying to tease Cena about this. If Cena really believed in his own slogan, he’d come and try to save Edge. Seth doesn’t believe Cena is genuine though, and knows that he won’t come into the ring to save Edge.

The words of a completely powerless, deflated, defeated man. Cena sounds absolutely miserable as he says the words to bring Triple H and Stephanie McMahon back.

Seth Rollins gloats and gets him to repeat it. At this point, Cena becomes angry and repeats it again, louder. Cena is angry at everything. The situation. Rollins. Himself. He knows there’s nothing he could have done differently, but that doesn’t stop him from being frustrated.

Once again with the intense, insane tone. This time, however, Seth is almost giddy with excitement. He knows Cena has reached his breaking point and just wants him to say it loud and clear.

Rollins reveals what he really wants from Cena.

Following Survivor Series, Rollins constantly brought up needing The Authority back in power. This is exemplified in his interview with Renee Young on the 12/15/14 episode of Raw, in which he laid out all the issues with The Authority being out of power.

At that time he was at the point of begging Cena. Now, Seth is in control. Seth no longer has to beg. He’s now commanding Cena.

Throughout the promo, Seth switches between many tones. This is an example of his very intense, borderline insane tone.

These are brief flashes of anger that show just how desperate Rollins is to get the Authority back. It also show’s the fact that he’s aware of being in complete control.

The way Rollins delivers these angry, yelling lines highlights his brilliance on the mic.

Earlier in the night, Cena and Edge had a backstage segment in which they jokingly ribbed at each other about their accomplishments over the other. It ended with the two saying they respect each other and shaking hands. It was a nice walk down memory lane and showed that the relationship between the two was solid.

Seth Rollins is calling attention to this. He’s pulling out everything he can to make Cena feel bad.
