This speaks to the internal struggle that many people are going through today – having to decide between being moral and successful. The outcome of this world is going to depend upon if people decide to hold on to their values or sell out to corporate America.

K-Rino isn’t of the belief that rappers are literally selling their souls to the devil for mainstream success, but he does feel like they do throw up Satanic symbols – “the 6” is the devil’s number – in order to stir up controversy and increase record sales. This is almost as bad in his eyes, especially because most of the rappers accused of using Satanic imagery (Jay-Z, Kanye, Eminem) are highly talented and could have made it in the game while keeping their morals intact.

My optimism always makes it hard for me to believe that some of these cats would subscribe to any representation of satanism because I would never knowingly do it. However, I do know that some people will do crazy things to “make it”. So my honest take on it is that there are some who do [Satanic imagery] willingly and knowingly, and there are others who are naive and unaware of the symbolism that they partake in"

Planned Parenthood is an organization that tries to prevent unwanted underage pregnancies. They support most means of prevention, including birth control and abortions, which K-Rino interprets as a disservice to the potential of the future generations.

American consolidation is becoming an issue, as a very limited number of corporations have bought out smaller companies to obtain ridiculous market shares.

Like many people, K-Rino feels that the radios and record labels need to stop promoting mindless mainstream hip-hop and focus on lyrical raps that can push the genre forward. Calling these singles “bomb hits” speaks to their great popularity, but also subtly compares the damage they inflict to that of a bomb.

K-Rino quote from an interview on his thoughts about the mainstream:

I think we tend to place value on the wrong things (cars, jewelry, money, women, and other material or superficial nonsense). How many rappers rap about owning land, or the importance of agriculture, or starting ‘legit’ businesses, unification and pooling of resources, proper education? Our priorities are messed up."

The United States heavily imports from China these days because of the cheap overseas labor China can provide – which is part of the reason why we owe them over a trillion dollars. K-Rino views the fact we can’t even clothe ourselves without resorting to China as a sign of weakness, and appears to be wary of China’s role as a growing superpower.

The “hidden hand” is a Masonic belief that a few elite Freemasons have shaped the entire course of history and steered it towards an “Age of Enlightenment”. K-Rino feels that the tension between the United States and Iran was caused by someone who would benefit if the two countries were to go to war.

America pats itself on the back for its justice system comprised of checks and balances, but what it fails to mention is the way it throws the Constitution out the window at prison camps like the infamous Guantanamo Bay Detention Camp in Cuba. This where the US detains its (often Middle Eastern) political prisoners in order to perform interrogations that often escalate into psychological torture. Even after the horror stories of what went on inside this camp became public, the US refused to shut it down, claiming it was essential in helping fight the war against terrorism.

America treats the Middle East like they are a nation full of terrorists based off of a few isolated incidents, when in reality there are plenty of examples of domestic terrorism in America that we choose to ignore – such as the Virginia Tech Shooting, Columbine, and the Aurora, CO movie theater shooting. The only difference is we treat foreign terrorists as representatives of what their entire countries stand for, while we treat domestic terrorists like troubled individuals that acted on their own.
