Game is loyal to those around him and from the beginning he was ready to stand by their side.

On the mixtape song 200 Bars and Runnin', Game attacked multiple foes of G-Unit, further exemplifying how he was willing to stand side by side with the group from the beginning.

This phrase is a double entendre. In one sense Game is stating how poor he was during the time of his grandmother’s passing that he did not even have $0.50 on him. On the other hand, this could be taken to mean he didn’t have 50 Cent by his side when his grandmother died (Game was raised by his grandmother and cites her as the most important figure in his life) for support yet he made it through that ordeal; therefore, if he didn’t have/need 50 Cent then, he sure as hell doesn’t need him now.

Game is referring to female rapper Jacki-O (Note: the lack of the letter “e” at the end of Jacki. When spelled with the “e” at the end, this can be easily confused with Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, wife of former president John F. Kennedy.

Rapper Jacki-O allegedly had beef with Foxy Brown in which the former claimed to have been interrupted at a recording studio by Brown. Jacki-O claims to have overhead Brown shouting that she was going to slap Jacki-O. Thus, the line “Nigga I’ll smack that ho like I’m Jacki-O.”

A continuation of the previous line, Game states that since 50 Cent wasn’t too happy about his growing hype, all hope of establishing a friend is gone out there door and now he’s taking shots (“slugs” is slang for bullets. Thus, throwing slugs would translate to taking shots at others, notably G-Unit in this instance).

In his single “Westside Story,” Game had a line that said

…and I don’t do button up shirts or drive Maybachs.

In a continuation of his previous statement that the media seeks to stir things up between the East and the West, the media are taking that line to be a shot at Brooklyn rapper Jay-Z.

Game took his time studying the 5 classic albums he picked when recovering from his bullet wounds. Now his patience and hard work is paying off and the rappers that wanted the fast route to success are mad at his success. This is also a clever play on one of Aesop’s fables “The Tortoise and the Hare.”
