Durant and Ty Lawson were teammates at Oak Hill Academy, where they were both McDonald’s All-Americans.

In a big “what if?” situation, the two could have started a dynasty at UNC. The Tar Heels made it to the Elite Eight in 2007. They made it to the Final Four the next year. And Lawson and the Tar Heels finally won a National Championship in 2009.
