Beachhead is defined as:

an area on a hostile shore occupied to secure further landing of troops and supplies

As Jay stated in the prior line, he is representing the Nation of Islam. In the Nation of Islam, the “wilderness of North America” is considered to be behind enemy lines due to the 400+ year oppression perpetrated against slaves and descendants of slaves within it. However, within the infrastructure of the music industry within the United States, Jay Electronica has established a notable and fruitful presence.

In “tearing the wall down” there is a reference to the communication and understanding between East and West Germany. Similarly, Jay is identifying his work to establish community and Communication between the Nation of Islam (represented by the “crescent and star with the red in the foreground”) and the Western world.

Jay also references Pink Floyd’s 1979 album “The Wall,” which was performed by Roger Waters in Berlin 1990, mere months after the Berlin Wall fell.

85 is a term used by 5 Percenters to refer to the “ignorant masses”.

According to the teachings of Elijah Muhammad (leader of the Nation of Islam, and the man that Minister Farrakhan represents today), the world is divided in three types of people:

85% – those who do not know the truth, do not know the living God or their origin in this world and slaves from mental death and power. These are easily led in wrong direction hard to lead in the right.

10% – those who know the truth and don’t share. The rich slave makers of the poor

5% – those who know the truth and are working to share the truth with others

Jay is saying no one – regardless of religious authority – can control his ability to repeat truth that resonates with him. To this point, he quoted the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan (who Jay also references in the next line) in the intro to his debut album “A Written Testimony” released in 2020 .

Later in that album he also referenced the words of Jesus (who Jay also considers a sensei) mentioning the “synagogue of Satan”, which generated controversy amongst factions within the religious community.

He realizes that trying to explain the offense of his failed explanation is futile, so he stops trying partway through.
