Again, I am critical of Lil Wayne’s dedication to New Orleans. While he escaped, he has done little to provide more opportunities for kids who are still trapped. Lil Wayne very rarely even performs in New Orleans for his fans. In fact, his last performance in New Orleans was during the Super Bowl for a private party, undoubtedly not attended by kids who are growing up in Hollygrove.
