P-E stands for Pro Era, the group he is a part of, but there is a double entendre as it can also be used to stand for Premature Ejaculation, which makes you come (ejaculate) soon (prematurely). This song released before their mixtape dropped, so that is what is coming soon

this could also include a reference to Steez’s suicide. It’s known Steez was a spiritual believer, he has many references to his plans to commit in his music. Premature referring to his early death. When you die your spirit separates itself from the body bring the ejaculation. After he committed pro era also became much more widely known.

P-E = Progressive Era, Steez uses Premature Ejaculation as a double entendre for P-E then goes on to say “coming soon” which is a promotion for the Pro Era tape and also it’s a reference to the premature ejaculation line because as we probably all know premature ejaculation means you cum too soon, hence the “coming soon x2”

Referring back to the “squeeze first” line, he killed the man. Pun then tells us about how he’ll drag the dead guy’s body through the morgue (pulling him feet first) and personally buries him (on some real gangsta shit). Since he is buried, he will be “eating earth.”

In this verse Big Pun seems to be talking to the police and the government. In this section he is saying that he will ‘squeeze first’ or pull the trigger before the cops can, then ‘make 'em eat dirt’ by bringing them to the morgue and burying them.

Joe and Pun were very close, and here Joe also says that Pun is “sent from the above” meaning heavenly. This doesn’t mean he is an innocent little choir boy (the next line can clear up that doubt, as can the rest of the song) but it serves as a way to show how amazing he is at rapping (one might even say, God-like?)

The blood inside the flea is a mixture of both of their bloods. This represents the mixing of bodily fluids, as would happen in the marriage bed.

“pamper’d swells” with blood is a possible reference to the flea being engorged with blood, but also to an erection. It’s also potentially a pregnancy allusion.

In America, it isn’t necessary to know how to drive a stick (stick shift) in order to get a driver’s license, and as a result many Americans never learn.

This might seem silly to mention, but the line before it mentions his lack of a Lotus (British car), and the whole point of the song is about not bragging about shit you pretend to have or pretend to do. He’s being honest and coming clean about his inability to drive stick.

It’s actually a BRILLIANT line….because the Lotus costs about 30,000 to 40,000 dollars, unlike the Murci and other cars he mentions which costs hundreds of thousands of dollars, but they ONLY come in stick versions!

So PAZ is saying that even if he could afford a cheaper sporty Lotus….he can’t drive a stick!

A) – They live in a tough neighborhood, so they’re used to it
B) – They recognized Biggie, know him as a thug and so they know that they’re getting mugged
