Vince Carter was a f*cking legend in his prime with his flashy dunks and all. Dwyane Wade was a slasher who would also dunk but was more of an in-game dunker. He spent most of his career on the Miami Heat so it’s pretty much a continuation of me burning you all like BIG’s old habits.

In New York, we use “son” a lot to refer to another man, and although this has been used before, I played around with idea of “son” and “sun” shining. I was watching Notorious and remembered a line where the guy battling BIG went “I call you son cause you mind not cause you shine.” and that was a dope line for its time. So that explains the BIG line “burn baby burn” following that up. So basically, this son shines like the sun and you all are my planets so I’m capable of burning you all.
