Action Bronson is referring to the Nike Air More Uptempo’s, which were released in 1996. The word “Air” was designed on the side of the shoe.
The sneaker was made popular by former Chicago Bulls basketball player, Scottie Pippen.

Brock Fetch is professional photographer based out of NYC who takes photos of a lot of the up and coming musical talent from that region, including Action Bronson and ASAP Rocky. He’s probably most famously known for shooting the cover of Rocky’s Live. Love. A$AP project.
Polaroid is a camera company known for their instant camera that was capable of instantly producing a photograph after shooting. Those instant photographs would often be referred to as “Polaroids.”

As a result of gentrification in Brooklyn, NYC, more privileged, White New York transplants (people who aren’t originally from NYC) have moved into the borough. They’ve changed the cultural and racial makeup of Brooklyn as a result.
Erick doesn’t fall into that category though. He’s a born and raised Brooklynite.

Liu Kang is video game character from the Mortal Kombat video game series.
Mortal Kombat is known for it’s violence and the series gave players an opportunity to kill their opponent at the end of a match by performing a “fatality” or an “animality,” a special move in which a character turns into an animal and brutally attacks or eats his or her opponent. In Liu Kang’s case, he would turn into a dragon:

In order to perform these “fatalities,” a player would have to move the joystick or directional pad on their controller and press a button or two.
