He respects those artist that make music that sounds more mainstream, but he’s gonna keep making music that appeals to the more underground fans. Still staying true to himself.

Krit has said in interviews he used to make music with playstations and karaoke machines because he couldn’t afford beats or studio time. He certainly made the most out of what he had.

Even though he got a deal with Def Jam, he is going to stay true to who he is and keep making music that some say sounds too country. Sticks with the theme of not selling out.
He’s moving too fast for these other rappers to keep up and can’t slow down making good music leaving all the others in the rear view mirror.
His ultimate goal was to have a pimped out car with a candy paint job. His true goal is to just make it in the music biz doing what he loves.
He won’t sell out when he makes it in the music biz like other rappers do. He simply says he can’t be Hollywood cause that’s not him.
He wants to refrain, or stay away from the lameness that some of these other hip hop/rappers are putting out as music. He is pretty much saying he won’t sell out which he references later on.
People were getting a little restless waiting for new music from Krit, and he did not disappoint. This mixtape is viewed by many as one of the best of the year.
Music is his love and he will do anything for it. He’s not going to let anyone or anything get in between him and his love for making good music.
He wants you to get excited for this song and him every time you hear it like it’s the first time you heard it and liked what you heard.
