The best way to mend a soul is use heavenly threads.

A cycle. Her kisses are sweet (like licorice), but in those kisses lies the decay. (too much sugar can – no, will decay your teeth, and in extreme cases, cause diabetes and even death)

But because they’re so sweet – I can’t let her go. She’s my mistress. My guilty pleasure.

Although most of what I see in her eyes scream hopelessness, I can still see an inkling of light, saying that there is still a way.

Satan, in the Bible, is said to be the ultimate being of deception. He masquerades as something beautiful, in order to lure in his victims and kill (decay) them. He is elegant in his luring techniques, doing the absolute most enticing things just to devour his prey.

Trying to say enough to make her change – i.e. making music with a message.

When I said she has a weapon in her sole – the idea is that she has it concealed. Me, being the watchful dog that I am, picked up on it, as it is visible when she runs. Maybe I’m not so watchful as she is bad at hiding things.
