The sunrise carries heavy symbolism in this line. It symbolizes rebirth and beauty. The sun is what replaces the night and banishes it with it’s heat and life-giving rays.
The sun is pulling him out of his grim mood and troubled times, towards a better future
This EP, Glutton, is primarily a dark and gloomy record, with a distinct after midnight feel. This final line of the final track signals the step out of the darkness, and a step into a brighter atmosphere.
In a more broad perspective, this line – this entire track – marks the transition between night and day, the transition between this and the next EP.
Considering that this is also EP #1 of four stylistically different EP’s meant to combine to a full album, this suggests that the next EP will be a more positive record, with this track building the bridge between the EP’s.

This marks the transition in the EP from the dark, gloomy atmosphere of the first four tracks, to the more uplifting nature of this last track. It leads in to the next EP, which has yet to be released.
The night symbolizes the above mentioned dense atmosphere of the EP. It also represents the negative thoughts and depression-like mood Tonedeff often finds himself in.
The sunrise is a symbol of rebirth and cleansing of the “evil” – the beautiful thing that replaces the cold night.
Tonedeff wants to be able to conquer this darkness inside him on his own, and then celebrate his personal victory alone. This ties in with his somewhat introverted personality – he wants to be able to hold his own

This line makes for a beautiful simile.
Helios is the ancient Greek Sun God – the personification of the Sun.
This initially means that Tone wants to rise up and reach the heights of the sun – to “reach for heights” means to fight for something better.
This simile also ties very much in with the general concept and use of imagery/metaphors in this song
Helios = The Sun
The Sun = Light
Light = “Good”
It’s essentially a message similar to that of the chorus – the inner battle of the good versus the bad, the dark versus the light. The sun is the most powerful symbol of the light, thus a perfect example.

Tone’s dark and grimy mood has been with him for so long that he no longer remembers life before this cloud of negativity.
This has reduced his basic needs to less than those of a normal, functioning person, who might be stating that he wants to “live life to the fullest”.
Instead of this, Tone’s only wish is to just live a life, no matter how “poor” – implying that the state he’s currently living in can’t even be described as a life at all.
