The Ice Truck Killer is a character in the television series Dexter, who began stalking Dexter and watched him murder his victims (perform surgery). This ties in to the previous taxidermy line, as taxidermy is performed on dead animals.

As a metaphor, Bis (Dexter) murders rappers when spitting bars and the Ice Truck Killer could be a fan who observes this ‘surgery’ before committing similar acts in order to impress Bis and seek his approval.

Jay’s start in the game, and his early life, is legendary. A true rags to riches story. His “poetic justice”, a literary device used to bestow rewards upon people who deserve them and dole out punishment to those acting wrong, is played on, calling it “projectic justice”, combining his start in the projects with the popular literary term. He was born and raised in Marcy Projects.

Poetic Justice is also a film that starred 2Pac, so Jay continues that reference.
