After 15 long years, Dr. Dre finally puts out his long awaited third album, Compton: A Soundtrack, inspired by his work on the N.W.A. biopic. When asked why his third album was not Detox, he said he scrapped the legendary album, stating:

I didn’t like it. It wasn’t good. The record, it just wasn’t good. … I worked my ass off on it, and I don’t think I did a good enough job.

This is one of the few occasions in the show highlighting Bender’s odd relationship with alcohol. It is established that alcohol acts as a fuel source for him, and when he is deprived he enters an inebriated stupor and even becomes weakened at times. It is also established that he has a very serious and comical craving for it, at one point causing immense property damage for a free 12 oz. of beer.

This makes it clear that Bender may not specifically require alcohol to function, and that there are healthier alternatives. There are also occasions which have hinted at Bender being an alcoholic.

YG’s first single off his second album, Still Brazy. Rather than his usual collaboration with DJ Mustard, this time he’s teamed up with Terrace Martin for a classic West Coast G-funk sound.

YG has done previous work with Terrace Martin on his first album My Krazy Life with Terrace producing the tracks “Really Be” and “Sorry Momma” for the hit album.

when it says why all these rap niggas wanna be bloods they are talking about Lil Wayne or drake showing off gang signs when they all had easy lives and when drake throws gang signs in videos it is extremely fake because he lived in Toronto living in a nice house with his mum and was on a tv show so he was getting money and in the next line where it seeing said rap niggas only in the club is saying that these rap niggas are only doing it for the fame and not for the music.

Nah, he means unlike the drake allegations of having a Ghost Writer to make it big or been famous he choose to stick to his own writing and keep it on the cool (Lo-Lo) even if his verses don’t make it big or make him famous

One major example was the suicide of Leelah Alcorn, a trans-girl from Ohio. Born to conservative parents who refused her gender identity, her alienation and the emotional abuse from her parents lead her to kill herself by walking into oncoming traffic.

Her suicide inspired such an outcry from the LGBT community that it lead to the creation of a law banning the use of conversion therapy on minors in the United States, also known as Leelah’s Law.
