Denne sangen ble først fremført på 22. juli-minnekonserten, der første rad var reservert til overlevende fra Utøya.
Å si disse linjene i den sammenhengen er en veldig sterk opplevelse, og det er mulig at det påvirket kroppsspråket og blikket til Magdi. Det fikk han kanskje til å se ut som om han aldri hadde stått på en scene foran så mange mennesker før, men sannheten er at væremåten endret seg fordi det var et så intenst og sterkt øyeblikk.
Karpe spilte også på minnekonserten i domkirken året før. Derfor sier Magdi her at de har “spilt foran de overlevne før”.
