Even thought everything is wrong, he accepts she made him fly (This is linked with “This drug to me…” because drugs like weed make you high) and by saying he never had a sweeter taboo. This could mean that she was not meant to be with him. Perhaps, she was like a “forbidden fruit” or it was simply not seen correctly by others.

There is also a reference to Sade’s The Sweetest Taboo.

Joell often refers to himself as YAOWA (also his catchphrase). He is saying no one will be able to pound (beat) him when it comes to rhyming. The closest they’ll be able to get is on Twitter where it is common to use the pound (hashtag) symbol before a word.

I.E. #YAOWA

He’s asking all these questions but no one’s answering. It’s like no one is able to hear all of his why’s. Similarly, The name Yvette is pronounced as if the Y is not even there. This is yet another why/Y that is going unheard.

Joell’s mom was too poor to buy food so he had nothing to eat as a kid. His hunger was so ferocious he reminisce his stomach growls sounding like thunder

Living in poverty, he had no choice but to rob others kids' lunch to eat.

This also explains the next metaphor about screws. He feels that the environment in which he grew up kind of screwed his life up in a way. The aftermath has left him with more than a couple of screws missing (loose). The hunger made him go crazy.

#Double Entendre!

  • Even though this chick is screaming for Bo to continue, her vaginal lips are closed ever so tightly. Considering he’s about to get it in, this is a good sign that she isn’t all blown out and loose. He just might be her first.

  • The vaginal lips open when horny. So she’s yelling for him, but her vaginal lips are sealed, showing that she isn’t actually enjoying the experience and is just faking excitement.

  • She screams Bo’s name as if she is thoroughly enjoying the experience. However, Bo was a “nerd” in high school and so he knows that tomorrow morning she isn’t going to tell her friends that she had sex with Bo Burnham.

Kurt Cobain was an American musician and artist, best known as the lead singer, guitarist and primary songwriter of the grunge band Nirvana. Cobain committed suicide by shooting himself in the head with a shotgun. He “blew his own brain” out.

Crook suggests the same fate for you. If you kill yourself, he won’t have to commit lyrical/actual murder on you. If he has to take action, you’re head will fall down into your lap, and it will look like you are trying to “blow your own brain”, which is a euphemism for giving yourself oral sex.
