Excitebike was a motocross racing game debuting in the 1980’s on the Nintendo systems. Although there was a remake of this game back in 2011, it’s safe to consider this game a thing of the past.

Tying in with the previous line, Kenny will make you go “night night” permanently, thus making you a part of the past.

#Dem graphics doe!

This directly references a part of Kevin Hart’s 2010 stand-up comedy routine, Seriously Funny, where he makes fun of the stereotypical thug.

Unfortunately for you, Kenny is a real thug and this could happen!

Drug trafficking is the illegal movement/distribution/sale of drugs. Heroine (dope) represents the most distributed drug with approximately 430-450 tons being moved worldwide each year.

In this context, however, “dope” refers to something that is cool/awesome/nice. In this case, their movement and/or music. When combined, it would make sense to refer to “dope movement” as “drug trafficking”.

Horseshoe Gang and all of C.O.B strive to be recognized worldwide.

What’s Happening!! was a television sitcom back in the 1970s. The only way to catch an episode of this nowadays is, of course, on a rerun. It’s also worth noting how well these bars coincide with the show.

The wack artists being addressed here are referred to as reruns. Fittingly, there is a character on the show named Freddy “Rerun” Stubbs. Rerun was a overweight, bumbling, comedic young man, often criticized for being unintelligent. That description is really summed up in the bars here. To Julius, these rappers provide more comedy than skill, and often come across unintelligent (sub-average).

This ties in cleverly with the previous line.

The idiom making a killing is representative of major success, typically in regards to money. But if you look closely at the previous bars, you realize there is a double entendre here.

Making a killing directly relates to Demetrius' crime. He cooked his victim to death, which literally means he made (cooked) a killing. Get it?

All the wordplay in these bars is just too dope!

Let’s start with the 2nd line. Iron man’s team is The Avengers. The play here is simply on the near homophones between Avengers and “avenge her”, but this could also hint that even if you were a superhero you would not be able to phase Demetrius.

The Avengers reference continues into the next line with another homophone: lowkey/Loki. Demetrius’ murder is lowkey because it might just be the perfect crime right? Cooking and eating a person seems like it would be hard to prove assuming there’s no motive. Alternatively, Loki is the main villain in the Avenger movie.

Magilla Gorilla was a fictional cartoon character back in the 1960’s. Magilla was repeatedly placed in a display window and sold to various customers for their own purposes: robbing banks, playing on football teams, becoming a mascot, etc….

Similarly to Magilla, Julius feels as if he used to be trapped in a cage, and now that he’s free, he’s tearing apart anything he encounters (tracks, enemies, etc).
