Reference to the film “The Fly” in which Jeff Goldblum acted. The scientist in the film accidentally fuses with a fly during an experiment. A legendary quote from the film is “Be afraid. Be very afraid.”

This is a biblical reference to Matthew 17:20, perhaps the most popular faith-based verse in all of scripture:

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

He wants the listener to stare inside his soul, i.e., feel his message. Meanwhile, he’s staring inside the solar system, or basically, at the sun and world at large.

This is where his wordplay comes in: he puts two sentences together – instead of saying “system” twice, he says it once:

• “System” hoping I soak up

While he watches the world, the Government (or “the system”) hopes that he falls. They just want him to be a hoodlum with so much criminal game that he could be jailed (put in a system) three times over (he compares it to the skill you’d need to play three gaming systems simultaneously by yourself). It’ll help if he’s a drunkard, but not insane, or he’d “get off” on a plea of insanity.
