Weezy was named after his father, Dwayne Michael Carter, but didn’t like being remembered of his absent-father every time he heard his name. He’s made an amazing life without the ’D' in his name, so he’d never use it.

Wayne, being the versatile rapper he is, references two soap operas: The Young And The Restless & Guiding Light.

What he actually means by this line is that he’s a busy young hustler, and that he mentors and cares for his whole crew. On pretty much every mixtape Weezy has, he’s featured new signees heavily on each one to get them some publicity.

Weezy uses the juxtaposing phrases ‘together we stand’ and ‘fall on y'all’ to illustrate how his team as a unit easily bests his opponents.

1. Weezy makes enough money to ‘make it rain’ by throwing cash.
2. To go along with the fact that he’s “the hurricane, son”, he can make his girl’s vagina wet.
3. He also references his home town, New Orleans, which got hit with one of the most destructive hurricanes ever: Hurricane Katrina. If you read the line “I’m the hurricane(’s) son”, you can interpret it as Wayne saying the hurricane made him the person he is today, like a mother would. Very subtle seeing as what the whole idea of the song is much simpler than that.

2. He also makes the most money selling drugs out of his whole clique. Women love money.
