Referencing Top Dawg Entertainment, Bryson gives a shout out to three members of the label. These three shout outs include the label’s co-president Terrence “Punch” Carter and artists Isaiah Rashad and Kendrick Lamar.

Using this reference, he creates a play on words with top, dawg and Top Dawg to state that he’s climbing his way to the top of the music industry.

Due to the worldwide success of his debut album T R A P S O U L and a tour that racked in approximately $100,000 per city, Bryson has the capability to provide for any girl that he’s truly infatuated with.

One interpretation of these lines sees that the aforementioned provisions include a place to spend the night and sticky marijuana. Playing off the classic phrase “Slow as molasses,” Bryson compares the stickiness and slow burn-rate of the weed he has to molasses. Sticky weed is considered good weed because it typically burns slower than dry weed and gets you higher than weed that just crumbles as you break it up. Additionally, sticking with the theme of molasses and stickiness, Bryson refers to this girl as his Honey — molasses and honey are both sticky sweeteners. This simple endearing term furthers the idea of his infatuation with this woman.

Another interpretation of the lines sees Bryson referring to having sex with the girl in question. The lines “Back and forth” and “Slow, girl, slow, girl” could be used as commands during intercourse and would further the idea of his infatuation with her that is seen throughout the song.
