Although preachers typically try to instill the ideas of good works and good morals, they can’t change every one. Some people who worship god, and go to church every Sunday, are still going to be devious in their ways.

Living life in poverty can be rough, and when you add in gang violence, it’s almost incomparable in its difficulty to anything else. This tough life can provoke people to do bad things. Killing a rival of yours is just one.

Many rappers tend to glorify gang violence and the time they’ve spent in prison. Since they’re famous and have money, many people believe what they say to be true. The impressionable youth sometimes accept these “successful” rappers as role models and try to follow in their footsteps. Lupe disagrees with what they’re saying and points out that these things they talk about are all, metaphorically speaking, shit.

Although recorded way back in 2012, Em decided to release this song in October of 2013. It was first released on YouTube, and became the third single off of The Marshall Mathers LP 2. It later went on to set a Guinness World Record for hit single with the most words – Em put a jaw dropping total of 1560 in there. It peaked at #7 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, got over 1,000,000 downloads, and went Platinum. You can read the annotated lyrics and listen to it here!

Released in October of 2013, this song was the first official single off of Gambino’s album Because the Internet. It has since gone gold and reached the #64 spot on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

Everybody’s like, ‘It’s a love song.’ It’s kind of an existential thing. I’m just really scared of being alone. When I was little, there was a big dog down the street. I was really scared of it. But when I was with my sister, when I knew I had to protect her, I wasn’t afraid of the dog as much because somebody was there. I had a purpose…I kind of feel lost. I kind of lost that, I feel.
- Childish Gambino

I don’t remember what caused me to be a Man U fan, but I’ve been in love with the squad for as long as I can remember.

College Football and College Basketball are by far my two favorite sports, and living in a city that has had recent success in both is great.

This safety has pulled in an interception in 8 of his 11 games played so far this year. He has 4 games under his belt with multiple interceptions and currently has a total of 13 on the season – that’s more than 111 NCAA teams. With two games still left to play, he’s on pace to set a new NCAA record of 15 interceptions, and one that hasn’t been touched since it was first set in 1968.

Although big rivals in basketball, this was the first ever match-up between these two programs in football. Louisville came into the game with a higher ranking, but was seen as a 3 point underdog in Vegas' eyes.

Louisville’s 7th ranked defense led by OLB Lorenzo Mauldin and the the leading interceptor in the nation S Gerod Holliman looked to shut down the turnover prone Notre Dame offense.

Louisville got off to an early 14-3 lead in the First Quarter due to two rushing touchdowns by true freshamn QB Reggie Bonnafon. However, down 17-6 at half, Notre Dame came back and hit Louisville in the mouth with two quick TD’s.

Louisville would end up holding a 3 point lead with just 1 minute left in the game. Notre Dame’s kicker, Kyle Brindza, would attempt and miss a 32 yard field goal. This sealed the fate of the game.

From the start of this game, it was pure domination by Kentucky. Defensively, they held Kansas to 11-56 (19%) shooting. It seemed as if every shot Kansas put up at the basket was being blocked. By the end of the game, there were 11 total blocks from the Kentucky players – Karl-Anthony Towns and Marcus Lee both led Kentucky with 4 blocks.

Up 38-28 at half, they managed to pull away even more. The final deficit of 32 was the worst defeat in Bill Self’s 12 seasons as a Kansas coach. However, he still managed to joke about it after the game.

Coming off of an easy win against Grand Canyon, Kentucky was most likely coming into this game with no worries. I mean, come on, there’s no need to worry about a team from the MAC that went 19-10 last year … right?

For the first 20 minutes of this game, Buffalo stunned Kentucky with smash mouth aggression. They managed to attack the basket well, and held a 38-33 lead over Kentucky at halftime. This “smash mouth aggression” was highlighted by a Justin Moss dunk over Willie Cauley-Stein:

However, Kentucky came out in the second half and played like a different team. UK used a 3-pointer, and then steal and dunk by Trey Lyles to get back on track. They held the Bulls to just 14 points, and managed to put up 38 points themselves.

Final Score: UK 71 – 52 Buffalo
