50 Cent was shot 9 times, and by all means could have and should have died. 50 frames this by saying that someone tried to send him to heaven, but when he was at the gates they sent him back down to Earth to live some more instead.
There’s a famous saying that “only the good die young”, which some people may also recognize from the Billy Joel song of the same name. 50 jokingly tells us that he was not eligible to die at such a young age, because he was never a good kid. He’s shot people, he’s been shot, he’s sold drugs. Some would consider him a rotten apple.
Fiddy would later write in his autobiography From Pieces to Weight that after getting shot and not dying, it dawned on him that he might have a purpose in life.
This could also be a reference to one of Fiddy’s earlier songs called The Good Die Young.
he did die and the doctors brought him back not “ he should’ve died”
“My attitude is gangsta, so I stay in some beef” is the actual line and it simply means 50 cents attitude in general is gangsta and this is naturally results in him being in constant beef in the streets, because he’s always stepping on people’s toes and violating others.
