Just because they’re with ya at the moment, doesn’t mean they’ll be there forever.

Some sick wordplay here from X. Normally when people get behind you they’re helping you out, or doing you a favor. But just because you’ve got your back turned to them doesn’t mean that they have your back, or are willing to fight for you. The same people that get behind you could be the ones that try to stab you in the back.

Hammer = street slang for a gun. Construction workers usually carry a hammer by their side, just like Weezy has his gun by his side.

You’ve got to question the usefulness of keeping unloaded guns on you though. Wayne is already on probation, and could face another lengthly stay in prison if caught with a firearm on him.

The Weeknd is living the fast life now that he’s rich and famous. He’s got the money, cars, clothes, and hoes, and sometimes it gets to be a little too much for him.

When he needs to slow down and gain a different perspective on his situation, he’ll pour a little lean into a styrofoam cup with some sprite and trip out.

Juicy J is certainly no stranger to “Sippin' On Some Syrup”.

This lyric is a snippet from The Weeknds song “The Morning”, Codeine cups symbolize the debauchery and partying going on.

Gucci Mane and Jeezy have had beef since they recorded the song Icy together. This song was the first in a long line of diss records afterwards, with one of Guwop’s biggest disses coming in Truth (Not a Jeezy Diss)

Referencing Snoop Dogg’s Gin and Juice, 50 lets us all know that he’s a pimp. He is not one because he is a womanizer or a ‘sucker for girls’, but because of his focus on stacking paper.

Fast forwarding to current day, Fiddy’s a little less focused on getting more and more money:

On whether he sees himself becoming a billionaire one day

Yes, but I’m not really focused on it…. You can have 18 bedrooms and you’re still only gonna sleep on one bed. You find that out after you have 18 bedrooms because the ambition will lead you towards wanting the biggest things possible for you in life.

When he gets injured, he does not go to the doctor like a pussy, but simply ignores the pain and continues on being a gangsta.

Many hood soldiers prefer this method of dealing with wounds instead of going to a hospital, where doctors may be called and expensive medical bills can be levied on them.

This line is actually more realistic than some may realise – Fiddy did actually get shot 9 times in Jamaica, Queens, outside of his grandma’s house. The “shell hit my jaw” is a real reference to one of the shots that took out his wisdom tooth and altered the way he speaks.

People who hate on 50 Cent don’t realize that he never changed his style – he’s been a great rapper from the very beginning, and is just starting to get the recognition he deserves for it.

50 thinks that people are just jealous of him, and if they don’t quit being such haters in the near future, he’s gonna have to commit some serious crimes. Just like the title of the song – Don’t Push Him. He’s had run-ins with the law before, and won’t hesitate to do it again.

If you start shit with 50 Cent, he’s gonna be the one to end your life. 50 was caught with one .25 caliber and one .45 caliber handgun shortly before the release of this album.

They can each take 16 bullets in the magazine (plus one in the hole!), and 50 isn’t going to stop firing until every single one of the bullets have been shot.

50 needs you to know how and why he is what he is. To truly understand and respect his music you must know his background and truly want him to succeed. He know’s that he’s done some dirt in the past, but Fiddy is now on a different track – he just doesn’t know what his end goal is yet.

Remember that this was 50 Cent’s debut album, and although it was much hyped, his future was still up in the air. After Get Rich or Die Tryin' went 8-times platinum, 50’s legacy was cemented.

This was also the opening part of the ‘’Many Men‘’ official video:

Lastly, notice this song directly precedes ‘’Gotta Make it to Heaven ‘'on the album. It’s more than a coincidence that 50 is asking his listeners to pray for him on this song before telling us why he has to make it to the chromed out mansion in paradise on the next.
