These were the lines that convinced John Lennon that this tune really was about him, as many people speculated:

The last line of “4th Time Around” (“I never asked for your crutch / Now don’t ask for mine.”) played into Lennon’s apparent paranoia about Dylan in 1966-67, when he interpreted this line as a warning not to use Dylan’s songs as a “crutch” for Lennon’s songwriting

This story is being told to a third character as hinted before “And I tried to make sense
Out of that picture of you in your wheelchair
That leaned up against” and that person is in a wheelchair/crutches.
“I never asked for your crutch
Now don’t ask for mine”. As crutches are essential for this person and taking them away would leave them ‘broken’ so he won’t ask(abuse) for too much.

I think the crutch refers to the side affair he had with the girl from the first part of the song. He’s described how he just had oral sex with this other woman before walking to this girl’s house. He is saying that other relationship is purely sex. It is not real love like they have (“you loved me then/you didn’t waste time”). He is saying they have a true relationship but she shouldn’t ask him to give up sex on the side with other women. That is his crutch that he needs to get by.

It sums up the whole song and reiterates his rationalization – “I never took much from you, I didn’t ask you for anything, so don’t ask me for anything.”

Because I thought they didn’t want to fit the rapper stereotype of doin' blow and bangin' bitches, I took this like as “I picked her up at her place as quickly as possible”.

If that’s not right, then they bang bitches, but draw the line at drugs?
