Em is telling his daughter that the crazy things he does (such as hitting Kim) are not done by him, but rather his crazy alter-ego Slim Shady.

This is also a reference to one of his songs: “My Dad’s Gone Crazy.

This is another way of saying “the devil made me do it,” an excuse that’s been used for centuries by people who don’t want to take responsibility. Eminem is standing up now and taking responsibility by destroying his excuse.

Another possible interpretation is that he’s trying to justify his lyrical content – Hailie is sure to be confused when she hears her dad’s rhymes and he reassures her by saying that he doesn’t say those things, Slim Shady does. He wants her to think of Slim as a different fella. It’s not until “Evil Twin” on MMLP2 that he himself accepts that he and Slim are truly the same person.

Also, in his book, The Way I Am, he wrote:

Slim Shady eventually became a metaphor for the trappings of fame for me. For example, I say, “Shady made me / But tonight Shady’s rock-a-bye baby.” And the chorus goes. I was basically saying, I don’t want this life anymore. I liked having Slim Shady around, but he’d become so famous that it had damn near destroyed. SO I KILLED OFF SLIM SHADY.

Mark Fuhrman was an LAPD detective that testified at the O.J. Simpson murder trial. During cross-examination, Fuhrman claimed that he had not used the word “nigger” in ten years. The defense then found audiotape of Fuhrman repeatedly using the word.

Similiarly, around the time Encore was being recorded, Ray Benzino (who Em was feuding with) released a tape that a 16-year-old Eminem made in his basement, in which he used the infamous N-word. Em apologized and explained that he was young and stupid, and had had a bad breakup with a black girlfriend at the time that the tape was recorded.

Both Fuhrman and Em faced similar situations; this also extends the O.J. metaphor from the previous line.

Son Doobie was a rapper in the group Funkdoobiest. This is probably why Em calls him Son Doobiest.

Son Doobie starred in a Vivid Video pornographic movie entitled Son Doobie: Porn King.

The character here is more influenced by the way sex is depicted as awesome in porn than how it is depicted as dangerous in movies like Kids.

Money.

Chips comes from poker chips, of course, while doubloons is a bit more complex.

The doubloon was a Spanish coin worth two escudos, derived from “doblón,” the Spanish word for “double”

Wayne, from New Orleans, may be familiar with them as fake doubloons are typically thrown around as part of the Mardi Gras celebration there.
