A reference to the 1988 comedy-horror film Beetlejuice. Saying the title character’s name 3 times would summon him

Royce seems to be mimicking homie / rival Lil Wayne’s shoutout in “Mr. Carter” – except Royce was unable to pull of the celestial double-entendre

Em has said outrageous shit about celebrities since his debut, what makes you think that he would stop now?

This more-so ties in with the previous line about Bubbles, MJ’s pet monkey. There was some controversy kicked up on an Eminem song, Just Lose It and MJ (and also Stevie Wonder) displayed some negativity towards how he (MJ) was portrayed in that song. Eminem is not going to apologize for anything he has ever said or done.

Kwame Kilpatrick, the former mayor of Detroit, was sentenced to four months in jail after being indicted on ten felony counts (he’s also received a few more years for violating probation and battling newer corruption charges).

Some of the charges stemmed from a 2002 mansion party where he was attacked by his wife after being discovered with strippers and he was later accused of having an extramarital affair (“being a player.”) He was sentenced in late 2008, two and a half years after D12 member Proof was killed in Detroit (“right after Proof split”).

A “rider” is a list of backstage demands that the artist makes. Some bands are known for their outrageous riders (especially rock group Van Halen, who once requested M&M’s with all the brown ones removed, and famously trashed the room once they found brown ones). Mr. Porter requires four pounds of fried chicken and, in tribute to Van Halen (and possibly Eminem), red M&M’s flown in from North Carolina just to make it more demanding.

The Six-Million Dollar Man was a mid-70s television series about a man who was rebuilt as a cyborg following an air crash, giving rise to the famous line which has entered popular culture:

We can rebuild him… we have the technology!

Eminem’s resolve after getting out of his addiction that he mentions in the last three lines before these two has made him the strongest he’s ever felt, like a cyborg. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.

If how you act determines where you live…

Also a commonly used line, Kanye has featured a similar line in “You Ain’t Never Gotta Ask”

“They say your attitude determines your latitude, I’m high as a motherfucker, fly as a motherfucker”

Michael Vick, professional NFL quarterback, famously served time behind bars for his involvement in an illegal dogfighting ring. Em is saying that he will kill your “dawgs” (friends) similar to how Vick would

Em also mentions Vick in one of the first lines in the opening song “Cold Wind Blows”: “I’m nuts; Michael Vick in this bitch, dog / Fall back, you’re mutts”

It seems at first that Eminem is saying he’s like a white Michael Jackson – the King of Pop – but he compares himself to Michael Vick instead. A really nice misdirection.

A vasectomy is a medical procedure for men that renders them unable to impregnate women. Eminem is playing with gender boundaries, referring to himself as bisexual, and implying that he can get his male victim pregnant. We know Hector is a man because Shady has revealed that he is prowling the Tribeca in order to seduce and murder men.

During Eminem’s infamous cameo in the 2014 comedy film The Interview, Eminem, playing a fictitious version of himself, “confessed” during an interview scene that he was gay, leading his interviewer to quote this line. Eminem then “revealed” that Hector was a real person.
