This is one of the most famous, violent, gangster-movies of our generation and even though many people take it as just a movie, Curren$y is pointing out that gang- and drug-related violence like this is happening right in our back yards

If this happened to those actors in real life, they would have no chance of survival in the tough cities.

Spitta is comparing his Jet Life ladies as being the lime to his lemon (or vice versa) meaning they are perfect compliments to him. Limes are bitter and sweet while Lemons are sour.

He is also a big weed connoisseur and with Lemon Sour Diesel being one of the most popular strands of weed, this could be a play on that saying; that his sweet Jet ladies are the perfect compliment to his Sour D.

Interestingly, birds were a reoccuring theme of Bukowski poems; Bluebird, The Girls and the Birds, and The Mockingbird all show his preoccupation with the animal, possibly shedding light on the fact that Bukowski spent much of his time alone in his one bedroom apartments, only able to draw inspiration from the chattering birds outside.
