Season 2 of The Wire is widely considered to be the weakest one. It focused primarily on the role of the dock workers in baltimore, namely how they fit into the drug trade. While the season moved more slowly than others, it was integral information for the stunning Seasons 3-5 of what i consider to be the greatest television drama of all time.
