Nas takes a shot at 50 cent saying he can point out his Grandma, 50 cent grew up at his grandma house in Jamacia Queens

What Nas means is that he knows 50 so well that he even knows his grandma. It’s not difficult to point her out in public. This is due to their early close relationship circa 1999/2000. Both emcees are from Queens, New York. The next line “you was my man” is proof of this.

No Pigeons" is the second single by Sporty Thievz, released from their 1999 album Street Cinema. It was a rebuttal to TLC’s single “No Scrubs”.

The Sporty Thievz song discusses the dilemma that “No Scrubs” alluded to, but rather than name women “scrubs,” they were denoted as “pigeons.” Throughout the course of the song, the artists on the track make overt references to unsightly, substandard women, accusing them of wearing hair weaves, having “more than one baby father,” receiving Public assistance, personal hygiene & “stripping all week to go clubbing.”

The AKAI S950 was a digital sampler used by many beat makers.

DJ Premier used machines like the AKAI MPC and digital samplers like the S950 (for longer sample time and features). His production style has been universally acclaimed, and his instruments were turntables and MPC’s.
