I always thought this was a reference to “The Supreme Being” character in the movie “Time Bandits” he’s a floating talking head that may or not have been responsible for the boy’s house burning down at the end of the movie, “Burning Down the House” by The Talking Heads makes more sense but possibly a double reference?
