Never saw this growing up in the sticks, but once I came to the city I was always fascinated by how much light it actually gives off. It looms with an almost ominous feeling when the night sky is a pale shade of orange and grey (clouds and lights). A beautiful monolith of disparity.

We’ve all got something we really want in life. This line was partially inspired by a conversation I had with Bittah Prophet about what we want in life. We’ve all got something deep inside us, and it’s different for each person, but no matter how wild, foolish, incomprehensible, bold, outlandish, or unbelievable, we always hope we can accomplish it.

notatroll previously stated that if you aren’t writing something for the right reasons, you shouldn’t be writing it at all. He also mentions about having no reason to write a verse. Because of all this, he is throwing away the verse he’s writing because it doesn’t have the meaning that he feels a verse/piece of art should.

I described life an death as being a loan system. When you die, your soul is taken away, and fitting with the theme, this would happen when you defaulted on your soul loan. My theory, since I don’t want to die yet, is that I will hang around in bankruptcy. Ghosts are bankrupt because they can’t continue paying their soul loan, but they are allowed to stick around.

The Double Entendre
What I’m saying is, my lyrics are great and they are taking off, gaining popularity, like a rocket ship. Also, my lyrics will make you feel drunk in a sense when they get in your head make your brain all a mess.
Tipsy, shitty and blitzed are all different terms for being intoxicated. Here comes the double entendre, I combined Blitzen (the reindeer) with blitzed (the term for drunk). Rudolph was associated with Blitzen being on Santa’s sleigh team together. Having a red nose is also a classic sign of intoxication.

Bam!

In the moment before you die, some people say you see a bright white light indicating the afterlife. In that moment, you’re in a struggle, fighting to hang on to your life. If you give in to the light, it means you are giving up on your life, either to finish the story of your life or to see what lies beyond.

Stick with me here, the triathlon refers to myself inside of time and space. When those three parts come together, I can do essentially anything.
Babylon is a reference to my past. By saying I’m in Babylon, I’m saying that I’m looking at the places of my past to see who is still in the future. It’s my way of seeing who has stayed with me through all this time.

Essentially, you need to hang on to your childhood.

Memories and mementos are the things that you remember from your past/have collected over the years. These are most often the things we value the most. These memories are directly linked to your childhood. Most people say once you grow up the child in you dies, but if you can hang on to these memories from your childhood, then the child inside of you will never die.

I’m saying I know where my friends and my enemies are at all times (a play off the previous line). If I had radar, or any other type of equipment built into myself, I would be a cyborg.
