Vanglorious is saying that my brother LDorado Jonez uses a lot. Its like better than good. I really wanted this hook to be like a chant this is the intro its the first thing you hear me say on the record and its relatively short just 1 verse so I wanted the hook to be a battle cry that represents a re-introduction of what you expect Sycosis to sound like. I always want to make the hardest intros of any artist out. But I also know I’m always introducing myself to new people around the world with every release so I want the to know where I’m from and what that’s about. South Side of Chicago but even further. Harvey where I went to High School is a poor area that doesn’t often have much to be proud of after decades of government corruption. I want to change that.

I originally planned to record 12-14 songs. However the project kind of came together unexpectedly and I decided for the first time in my life that less songs were better. In these 7 songs you should be able to tell exactly where I am right now. I literally wrote this song for breakfast about about 6AM on May 29, 2019. I did about 35 takes to get it straight through. I’ve never spent that much energy to make sure I got it one take because it needed that kind of sound. The grittiness and pain you hear is real.
