At least 14 times but as many as 20 President Obama has talked to the nation about stricter gun laws like universal background checks and limiting the number of bullets someone can have for a gun at at time. However the issue in Chicago is about illegally sold and purchased guns and little is being done to address how the guns are being trafficked here in the first place.
Think about it, we all know who El Chapo and Freeway Rick Ross are, but can you name one known gun trafficker ever?!? How come no one is going to jail for this but the people caught buying them?

Heroin and Fentanyl had a 200% increase of use from 2008-2012 in this state with many of the new abusers of the drug being White from suburban upper middle class neighborhoods like Naperville, who are treated with much more lenient sentences for possession or distribution than Blacks or Latinos.

Turn on the news and they will overwhelmingly tell you that gang feuds are the single cause of almost every shooting. But as I mentioned earlier the term “gang” doesn’t mean at all what it used to mean. They are not organized criminal networks like the movies. They are small groups or sometimes personal feuds.

Unlike most of the country where you can buy a rifle at the local Walmart, the only way to legally get a gun in Chicago is to leave the city or get it offline. Chicago is ranked top 10 in most strict gun laws but 80% of the guns used in shootings are trafficked from another state, the same way drugs are.

Bill O'Reilly has a history of racist criticisms of African Americans and specifically of Hip-Hop. I hope he and someone at Fox news hears this song before I get my “Cease And Desist” letter and notification of a formal lawsuit for using his own words (unedited) in the song :-)

Questions we must ask our selves. Do we really care that these people are dying or that if they are shot they are likely to get revenge and kill someone else, even someone innocent on accident? Or is it ok because its not happening to us?
