This skit is reminiscent of the dialogue that opens Biggie’s “Going Back to Cali” – one assumes the homage is intentional
Both have the same basic plot – rapper is woken by phone call telling him to wake up and get ready, lest he miss his imminent flight to LAX. Much of the dialogue is even eerily similar. Hear Biggie’s version below:

LAX is an international airport in Los Angeles where Vic will be headed from O'Hare, the busiest airport in the world.
This is also a way to lead into the next song on the mixtape, which is called “Hollywood LA,” Vic is going to LAX at the end of this song and his project is going to Los Angeles for the next song.
