In the story the Bengal tiger represents adversity that we all must face to make us stronger human beings. In Pi’s case it “sparked” him to become a fearless man who learned to become a self sustaining being in the most desperate of situations. In Rapsody’s case it “sparked” her to become the dopest female MC in a male dominated world.

Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin AKA Rap Brown was a civil rights leader best known as being the former chairman of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee and for his controversial autobiography Die Nigger Die.
Rap Brown is currently serving a life sentence for the murder of two deputies, but in the context of this verse Journalist 103 is more than likely referring to Brown’s first arrest. In 1967 after giving a speech in Maryland, Brown was arrested and charged with inciting a riot clearly infringing on his right to protest. Journalist refers to two African American leaders who were “caged” for their actions, but who were nonetheless qualified leaders in their own ways.

Ross references the original Niggaz Wit Attitudes, NWA, who were often taken out of context within the media who portrayed them as misogynistic, promoting gun violence, and gangsters (ironically all things that the media has portrayed Ross as over the years). In reality we know that NWA was just delivering a social commentary about the state of their city, but God forbid we attempt to contextualize the “horrible” things rappers are talking about.

In the Bible, Aaron was Moses' brother who went on to become the first High Priest of the Israelites. Aaron was personally chosen, by God, to deliver the Word of the Lord because Moses, an admitted bad public speaker, could not convey God’s message to the people.
In a similar way, Aceyalone is rapping not for himself, but as God’s instrument. Aceyalone believes that through his lyrics he will deliver God’s message in the same way that Aaron did thousands of years ago.

Rick Ross is one of the cleanest rappers in the game, but his involvement with the bird, slang for kilo of cocaine, trade will always make him “dirty”.
Rozay also plays on Jeezy’s ATL roots here by referencing the iconic Dirty Bird dance made famous by former Falcons player Jamal Anderson.
Rick Ross is saying, “for the that bird” ( brick of cocaine), he’s a by any means type of man. He’s also paying homage to Young Jeezy who is an Atlanta Native and feature on the song; as The Atlanta Falcons are nicknamed “ The Dirty Birds”.
