L is presenting himself as a gangster who is heavily involved in the street of life of money, cars, drugs, girls and violence

It plays on the previous line, with the emphasis on the violence aspect of THIS line. He is such a gangster he would even kill a baby girl.

God created us and gave us life.

Even after we sinned, we got the chance to have eternal life with God in heaven.

Christianity is a race in the sense that you have to stay with it until the end to obtain the prize (eternal life) but it isn’t a competition like a Nascar race where whoever crosses the finish line first wins.

This ties perfectly with what Jesus says in Matthew 20:16:
“So the last will be first, and the first will be last.”

Jesus referred to himself as the light.

Paul was a nonbeliever and was blinded during his conversion.

The “light” hit Lecrae and made him him to see life as it really is.

This is an allusion to a Muhammad Ali quote. The boxing great is often quoted as, “If you even dream of beating me, you’d better wake up and apologise”, though that appears to be paraphrased. The quote seemingly stems from a 1972 interview:

INTERVIEWER: Do men ever try [sparring and boxing with you?]
ALI: If he dreamed it, he better wake up and apologise.

Writer/director Quentin Tarantino, who is referenced during this track’s second verse, incidentally paraphrased the quote for his 1992 directorial debut, Reservoir Dogs.

When Suffa opens his eyelids, wakes up and gets out of bed he feels “big”, as one would feel when receiving national recognition regularly.

He illustrates just how big he feels by depicting how he’d dress if he were literally giant-sized – a look he’d don as he surfed down a street on his Jeep sneakers, with onlookers worshiping him as he passed by due to his choice of headwear (with the steeple and crown having religious and royal significance respectively.)

Note the instrumental’s bold change at the beginning of this quatrain, this upbeat change reflecting the lyrics as the instrumental seemingly ‘wakes up.’

You can’t succeed without investing in sacrifice and hard-work.

Representing individuals conforming and fighting over the same thing/position akin to petty pigeons who don’t have the intelligence to behave otherwise.
