If you believe in an afterlife; it’s not that difficult to send troops into battle knowing that they are in risk of being killed, because you think they have another chance at living in an afterlife (Heaven).

If religion becomes more prominent in the world like it was during the Dark Ages there will be a decline in human progress especially scientific and technological progress because religion will be in control once again, and thus leave us in the dark, like we were before the light of intellectual enlightenment shined on us.

Fundamentalist religious people hold strongly to their dogmatic beliefs, and will not let go of them and surrender to the voice of science and reason, because they are brainwashed into believing, so they won’t let go without a conflict occurring.

Lowkey and his family are sorry that they didn’t support him as much as they could, they thought they did, but this is possibly because he was not open about his true feelings to his brother and parents, so they didn’t really know what was going on in his life.
