My mom has been writing poetry ever since she was a child, but she never went to school for it. Amazingly, she knows about various poetic terms and uses like anaphora, metaphor, synecdoche, which she learned on her own. She picked it up on her own. And she then taught me.

Two great poets Maya Angelou and Langston Hughes. I’m saying that if I try, I can show a range of emotions with just my words.

Everything my mother did, whether it was writing poetry or work or taxes, she always was dedicated to what she did and she never stopped until she finished and was satisfied.

She raised two kids with no help and put both of us through college. My sister and I never got arrested or in trouble. That’s great parenting. She’s an amazing lady.

She always told me this. She’s very devout and often tells me to walk proud, be a man and a leader, and, most importantly to have a connection with God. Love.

That’s a whole lot of greatness. Even Telly’s mom knows! This line also serves as the name to my tumblr.

My mom sent me a letter via email the day after my birthday and she quoted a line from Freaks x Geeks and the title from Glory. She also said blizzard because when I born in the 1993 Storm of the Century. It’s heartwarming to know that she listens to my music and supports me (even though she said I should curse less lol)
