Shady claims that anyone who tries to go against him will meet a worse fate than the runners in the 2013 Boston Marathon. This was the infamous Marathon where Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev detonated a pressure cooker at the finish line which killed 3 and injured almost 300. Note how “and I have” sounds very similar to Tsarnaev.

Dzhokhar also tweeted out lyrics from Eminem’s verse on “Forgot About Dre”.

The Outsidaz are a New Jersey hip-hop clique. They were affiliated with many members of Em’s crew D12 and gave him a co-sign before he was a household name. “The Outhouse” was the name of their headquarters where they would freestyle and record raps.

Em appreciates all of the love they gave him, and shouted out Young Zee, Pacewon and the rest of the Outsidaz on the outro to “Just Don’t Give A Fuck” and many other SSLP era songs. Ever since then he hasn’t really shouted them out, which makes him feel like he developed Alzheimer’s. Pacewon recorded a diss towards Em because he felt that Em' leave him behind after get success.

Part of the reason Paul is worried about Em dying his hair back is because he dissed just about everyone in the industry during his Slim Shady days. He might do something like diss 4 prominent but unrelated white rappers just because he knows the media loves white rapper beef.

Eminem also had a minor issue with Asher Roth.

Em has been a prominent artist since 1999, but he’s “still in this bitch” – he plans on rapping until he’s fossil fuel.

“Still in this bitch” sounds like “stealin' this bitch”. This is why he he references the kidnapping of JonBenét Ramsey and Chandra Levy, as well as the #1 suspect for the kidnapping of Levy, Gary Condit.

In 2013, Em dyed his hair blonde again to channel the Slim Shady days for The MMLP2. This caused Em’s manager/lawyer Paul Rosenberg to worry he might relapse, as Em had blonde hair at the peak of his drug addiction and craziness.

Paul has played the role of worried manager on skits from The Slim Shady LP, The Marshall Mathers LP, The Eminem Show, Encore, and Relapse, so this should come as no surprise.

The “Em” heard at the start of the bar is sampled from The Marshall Mathers LP skit.

Em snorts a kilo of cocaine, starts unnecessary fights, and is a fan of hip-hop clique The LOX.

These lines contain a lot of key-related phrases; as “ki” is a homophone with “key”, you can “pick” a lock, a locksmith’s job is making keys, and “LOX” is a homophone with “locks”.

There’s also a wordplay on “snort” and “pick” (as in picking one’s nose).

After Kendrick’s verse on “Control” where he called out half the game, plenty of irrelevant rappers tried to hijack his buzz by responding to the verse.

If Eminem really were to go crazy like Paul fears he might do the same. But this is unlikely as he spoke highly of the verse and is a fan of Kendrick.

Em has no room for improvement, and no wiggle room to escape when his lyrics get him in a tight situation. He often mentions that his #1 gift is the source of most his problems, so he feels stuck and trapped like a claustrophobic person in a small closet.

To be “in the closet” means to hide your sexuality from people. But to solidify that he isn’t in the closet, Em calls anyone who interprets the line that way a faggot.

Em uses hot-sounding words to describe this girl and cool-sounding words to describe himself. This makes her sound like she’s overly emotional and obsessed with him, while he’s her polar opposite and does not care about her.

“In heat” is also a phrase that describes dogs in mating season, so calling her a bitch (female dog) takes on another meaning.
