Over the last decade, churches(specifically pastors) and other religious settings have been getting very bad criticism due to stealing money, rape charges, and more. Because of this, these pastors and preachers get away with having sex with and practically stealing from everyone in the congregation.

Issa’s lyrics are so cryptic and hypnotic that they can put anyone’s minds at enough ease to meditate; they are a mantra.

Peter Pan is a Disney character and one of the main protagonists of the same-named 1953 film and franchise all together. One of his most notable traits is his inability to grow old.

Issa is saying that he, like Peter, is able to stay at his prime age forever.

Pusha uses a play on words, referencing both his history dealing crack cocaine as well as Frank Ocean’s song “Crack Rock,” which tells the story of an individual who battles through drug addiction.

Pusha previously did a play on Ocean’s name in the last couple of lines.

Pusha and his boys couldn’t have have made it big selling dope without each other. This ties in to Pusha T’s real life experience when some of his closest friends faced jail time which led to the hiatus of his brother, No Malice.

In addition, Dreamworks is a film studio, and “seen work” could be heard as “scene work”, completing the pun.

Don’t forget that Anthony ‘Geezy’ Gonzalez, the manager of Clipse (Pusha and No Malice), was jailed for leading a Virginia drug ring.
