...is something that bothers me though, and it is the fact that sometimes a song hits you really hard because you relate to it. Most annotations on Rap Genius are from random people on the internet who just happen to have a little too much time on their hands. You should never let their interpretation change how you feel about a song.

This line sounds like a paradox at first, as Simz is only 20 years, and you would think the “olders” would have reached her age long time ago. However, Little Simz has talked about having an old soul, and on both Saur-Renity Rap-Tiles and Deranged, she mentions being 3000 years old. Examples like those give this line a new perspective.
