Nok et eksempel på en god metafor.
Å “ha det som plommen i egget” er et vanlig norsk uttrykk som beskriver at man har det bra. Magdi er ikke lenger bare plommen i egget, men han er nå en fugl, som kan bety at han har det enda bedre.
Et annet norsk uttrykk er “fri som fuglen.” Fugltemaet fortsetter litt senere i dette verset, og Chirag og Magdi bruker metaforer med fugler flere steder gjennom Kors på halsen, ti kniver i hjertet, mor og far i døden, som for eksemper på “Spis din syvende sans” og “Påfugl”.
Magdi og Chirag er innom lignende tanker på låta “Ruter” fra 2010-albumet Aldri solg en løgn; man må bryte komfortsonen for å lykkes.
